Sundays at Haji Lane

Lazy, rainy Sundays...
My friend was in town that day & we headed to Arab St/Haji Lane to walk around.
It's one of the areas in Singapore that has some sense of character, color, & individuality that I like.

Past all the nasi padang stalls, shisha cafes & quaint little shops, there were other
vibrant colors & textures that I wanted to capture.

Most of the shops were closed, but we chanced upon an ad hoc flea market that was being held on the street. Selling everything from handmade fabric animals to vintage clothes, it was nice to see a youthful, bustling environment.

I will definitely have to go back again & also try the Middle Eastern restaurants nearby. Falafels- yum!!
